I knew I was going to have a good time on safari but I never imgained how wonderful it could be. I was traveling with a group of 10 friends and we had the trip of a lifetime. We are all international school teachers and between us we have traveled to over 100 countries and everyone on the trip said this safari was in their top five of all time trips. Our guide Hamisi made us feel so comfortable as soon as he picked us up at the airport. We stayed at a very modest but clean and friendly guest house in
Arusha and our guides were available to take us anywhere we needed to go before our safari began. We started our safari at Lake Manyara and it was amazing. We sat and watched a herd of elephants for at least an hour and laughed and joked as the hundreds of baboons put on a show for us. When we got to camp our tents were all set up with comfortable mattresses and sleeping bags and our cook had prepared a delicous tanzanian meal. The next day we headed for Serengeti and stayed at a beautiful lodge built into the surrounding rocks. There was a dance troupe there that night and again the animal viewing and food was excellent. The climax of the trip came when we went to the Crater. It was like the garden of Eden. I will never forget this trip and would love to go back someday. If I do get a chance to go back I will definitely book my safari with Kiboko Safaris.
