Kommentar: ulius gave us exactly what i asked for in a 3 day masai mara safari with balloon trip at the lowest price of the 5 quotations i received. everything went smoothly from making the initial email enquiry from the uk until his driver dropped us back at the hotel after the marvellous experience of the safari. after getting a taste for the safari with a visit to tsavo east and west last year, we decided to go to the masai mara this year and found this to be on another level altogether. the animals are much more abundant and on the open plains where you could drive right up to them whereas in tsavo you cannot leave the road. we chose the royal mara for our camp because it only had 8 tents. tents???? a truer description would be wooden bungalows with a canvas flap. each tent???? overlooks the river where there are no shortage of hippos and the odd crocodile. daytime meals were outside overlooking the river and evening meals were round the campfire. our last lunch was on the open plain with views to the horizon all around. memories to last a lifetime
