I found about Planet Safari Adventures at the airport, and then organised the details of my trip at their office at Sonalux House on Moi Avenue. They were friendly and accommodating. I was able to tell them exactly what I wanted to see, and they tailored a trip to suit my needs. Unfortunately, they were not able to find any other travellers to join me on my safari. However, they had guaranteed that my safari would run with or without other travellers, and they stuck to this guarantee, although it meant that they were running at a loss (I paid a total of 43,800 Kenyan shillings for a 6-day trip, with accommodation, park fees and meals included, plus two free nights of accommodation at Sonalux House.)

My guide, 'Cowboy', was very professional and made good company. I had a very enjoyable and unique 6-day experience. I was able to do things most people would never experience on a safari, including visiting an orphanage run by the owner of the Planet Safari company, and being invited for dinner at someone's house. It was an amazing experience.

After my safari finished I became very sick with a bacterial infection, and ended up spending 4 nights at Nairobi hospital. The team at Planet Safari Adventures were wonderful - they visited me twice, and gave me a lovely card wishing me a speedy recovery. I am very grateful for their kindness.

I recommend Planet Safari Adventures to anyone with a sense of adventure who is willing to be flexible and go with the flow. You will have a unique and unforgettable experience.

Was promised that there would be a maximum of 7 tourists on the minivan through Masai Mara, but on one day there were 9. Because of that one guy had to sit in front and could only take pictures in one direction and could not stand up to see better; the rest of the van was too crowded and it was harder to see the animals and take pictures. Accomodation in Masai Mara were very basic tents and uncomfortable toilets, other campsites appear to be more comfortable.
At Lake Nakuru they used a luxurious hotel though! Way more than I expected.
